Before being able to achieve perfection in your own images, you need to learn what is it about an image that makes it perfect.
Bruce Smith has created a selection of master classes, workshops and courses to help you to understand what image perfection is and how to achieve it in your own images.
We have all heard the expression "A photograph tells a thousand words" but not every image has a long enough story to contain a thousand words and some have a great deal more.
These days we look at thousands of images every day so how can you differentiate which of these images has the x factor re their content as above.
A great deal of what is considered to be "The Perfect Image" is purely subjective but also as above your images have to achieve both your creative vision along with fulfilling the expectations of who you have created the images for i,e your clients. Look at my images and judge for yourself taking what I have explained into account.
I am not saying that my own images are perfect, just that this is what I strive for in my own images every time that I shoot. Whether or not they are perfect is some thing for others to say not myself.
The photographic image has a story that is written into the content at the time of shooting, you achieving compelling content into your own images is my objective during my photography master classes, workshops and courses programs of teaching you how to shoot fashion and fine art nudes photography, they were all created to help you differentiate and achieve amazing results that compel the viewer to read your story.
I will teach you to achieve "The Perfect Image" using my tried and tested methods of shooting gained over my 40 years working as a professional published international fashion and fine art photographer.
I have been teaching and speaking at international photography conventions and expos, at arts and photographic academies and institutions around the world for the last 15 years.
In 2006 I wrote the first how to shoot fashion book Pro Digital Fashion Photography A Complete Guide plus have published several fine art photography books as well as being represented by a renowned arts agent in Europe.
When I began as a young photographer I was inspired by such great image makers and iconic fashion photographers like Richard Avedon, for his amazing lighting, movement and life in his images, Norman Parkinson for his dynamic fashion, couture and classical elegance. Terrence Donovan for his attention to detail, David Bailey for his revolutionary approach to shooting fashion for Vogue magazine plus his intolerance of the fashionista :-). Paolo Roversi for his sense of mystique and stunning lighting. Henry Cartier Bresson for his definitive moment. Plus many more of the iconic fashion, people and portrait photographers of the past.
I am a believer in great photography being created in the camera and not relying on post production to be the only element that differentiates a fashion and fine art photographers style from other photographers.
"The fashion photographers of today are creating images that are just like the computer generated car designs, they all seam to look the same"boring and uninspiring.
I do not believe in copying the styles of these great fashion and people photographers, I took away from them the influences and what I believed were the essential elements that made their work so powerful and adapted their philosophies into achieving my own unique style of fashion and fine art nude photography.
I teach my students with all of the above in mind. Not holding onto the past but putting more emphasis on creating great images in camera. I also teach my secrets and techniques, not just the basics but the whole essence that he puts into my own images.
Teaching you my own photographic lighting techniques and skills with both artificial and available light, the correct camera settings to get the results that are needed to give clients images that work, communicating with your clients and your styling team, directing your models and subjects.
An important attribute of any professional fashion photographer or people photographer is their skills a being in control of every technique, team, model and client management aspects of shooting fashion.
I will also take you through my techniques of image finishing in post production to compliment the great content already created at the time of shooting. Plus so much more than can be explained in a few lines of text.
