Terms and conditions for booking courses and workshops

 

 

Paying your course fees online

 

Most of our course bookings are done via email, when we have received your booking email, we will invoice you for your course fees using PayPal secure online banking. If you have any questions regarding paying your course fees, please email us at b.s@mac.com

 

Paying by instalments

 

You can pay your course fees in 3 instalments if your course fees are more than £300 and the course is at least 3 months away.  Please email us to arrange paying your course fees in instalments.

 

 

Terms and conditions

 

In the event of a course you have booked being re-scheduled or cancelled we will offer you a place on an equal valued course or workshop in the future or a full refund of any workshop or courses fees paid to Bruce Smith.

 

Bruce Smith will not be liable for any expenses incurred for travel or accommodation apart from the course or workshop fee as paid by those booking courses or workshops.

 

As a precaution to courses and workshops arrangements being changed or cancelled, when booking travel and accommodation arrangements, where possible please only book on the condition that your travel and accommodation expenses can be refundable or arrangements that can be changed with little or no cost penalties.

 

Full payment of course fees must be paid at the time of booking your place. Or if your paying your course fees by instalments the last instalment must be paid 30 days prior to your course start date.

 

If you cancel your booking more than 60 days before your course start date we will refund your paid course fees in full, if you cancel your booking between 30 and 59 days before your course start date we will refund 50% of your course fees, if you cancel your booking between 0 and 29 days before your course start date there will be no refund.

 

Some details and specifications may change according to the numbers of people that book onto any of these courses, workshops and master classes.  Every thing possible is done to make sure that those who book achieve your objectives.

 

 

Usage of course images

 

Re usage of images by students of the Bruce Smith Academy of the models or team or fellow students taken during your course, your license to use these images is restricted to personal use only, which means you can put the images on your website and in your portfolio and on your social media.

 

Any images placed on any type of social media must be credited to the academy as follows.

Along with credits to the team i,e the models, make up artist, hair stylist and the fashion stylist.

 

There is no license given to use any images taken during the course by any third party or the publishing of the said images in any other way apart from mentioned above as personal use in portfolio, your website and social media with the above conditions..

 

Copies of all of your finished course images must be forwarded to Bruce Smith at at least 1 mega bite in size, along with any out takes shot during the course or video footage shot during the course.
